Erklärung warum sie die Gewichte nicht veröffentlichen:

"We understand in a world of weight conscious riders, bike weight can be very important. However, it should not carry so much "weight' in your decision as to be the only consideration when selecting a bike to ride.

We endeavor to build the strongest, lightest bikes on the market. The Tarmac and the Stumpjumper hardtails are an example of that success. We are also very confident in our ability to build a strong durable frame, evident in our limited-lifetime warranty. Publishing weights of bikes is like setting that weight in stone, and weights vary from size to size of bikes.

Bike weights are also not static, they can change from the time the information is dispersed to the time they hit the dealer floor. Rather than retract and re-issue bike weights we choose not to publish it in the first place. This saves us and our customers a lot of disappointment and frustration.

When bikes arrive here from the factory for inspection, we try to weigh one of the sizes from the size range for people who inquire about weight.
