The Spyder 140 is a 140mm trail machine. It's got an aluminium frame and features the same suspension system. Tomac decided to keep to 140mm rather than 160mm because that extra 20mm of travel adds a lot of weight. As it is the Spyder keeps to a frame weight around 7lb with complete bikes sub-30lbs.

The bikes looked very good in the flesh - particularly the Carbide. The suspension system looks similar to many others, and Tomac weren't claiming too much revolution, but reckoned that their frame was going to be high quality and worthy of the rather large Tomac legacy.

Tomac Bikes will be available direct from dealers in the USA and from Stif Mountain Bikes in the UK when they become available later this year. There's no info on prices yet.

es gibt nix öderes als an jedem eck ein radl vom selben hersteller zu sehen.

das x-te stumpjumper interessiert mich auch sicher weniger als dieses wunderschöne spyder 140...

ich find aber die aufmachung ein wenig zu "zeitgeistig", fehlt bisserl die eigenständigkeit...

Eh sehr schön, aber von Tomac Bikes habe ich die Schnauze erst mal voll!
