Freeride park opens its doors to MTBers in established Austrian resort

All those freeriders and North Shore wannabes out there will be glad to learn that you no longer need to fly across the pond to sample the legendary planks. There have been several small scale trails springing up all around Europe, with the latest - and perhaps the biggest - opening recently in Austria.

Top ski resort Saalbach-Hinterglemm has been home to fantastic Tyrolean mountain biking for years, and now it also boasts a near two kilometre freeride trail and a full on North Shorestyle freeride trail too. The Adidas Evil Eye Trail will

be open all summer, and is well served by ski lifts. Along the way you can ride huge Jumps, narrow planks, awesome singletrack, see-saws and a fantastic wooden 'wall of death' style banked corner.

There are options for everyone on the trail, to suit all abilities, including a practice area.
