  1. Thank you Andreas, and schwarzerRitter. Both helped me a lot. Decision is: - cougar1, - with buggy set. Without you, I would wasted some 180€. I'm not taking seat support, because kid is strong and tall for 1 year old. Also not taking a jogger wheel. I am firstly a biker (mtb), then a walker, and the last runner. Even then, I run very slow, and only occasionaly. Wife on the other side, I believe will use a stroller a lot. Thank you. David
  2. Hi everyone, Biketrailers in Austria are often to see. But not here in Slovenia. That's why I'm asking you guys for advise. Excuse me for not writing "auf deutsch" but for sure you speak english very well. I am buying cougar, but have questions on necessary ad-ons. I marked each Q with 1), 2), etc. so you can answer on each particullar. Please answer "in german language", I understand that much. 1. When buying only jogging kit: can one go on a walk with it, since wheels don't corner? Is it annoying, because you must lift front wheel to steer? Can you turn light curves? 2. When buying only strolling wheels. Can you slowly run with them, without trailer beeing nervous in straight line? 3. When running with jogging kit: can you handle light turns, or must one always slow down or stop, and correct direction? 4. my son is 1year old, and allready 82cm tall (32 inch) and has very strong neck. I don't know if buying a seat support is necessary (chariot says it's for kids from 9months to 2 years), 5. what is the weight of buggy kit? 6. what is the total length of cougar (cheetah, or cx) + jogging wheel, with handlebar to lower position? Answer in german, please. Thank you for your answers. David
  3. Hello, Are Burleys available in any store in Austria? Especially in Steirmark or Karnetn? Here in Slovenia only Chariots anc Croozers are for sale. Burleys seem a better deal than Chariots, but I can't find them anywhere for test-ride. I'm flipping between Cougar1 and Solo. Can anyone give smoe advice? Thank you, David, Slowenien.
  4. Hallo, Was fűr eine untergrund kann Mann erwatern? Es ist mein erstes Mal dort. Ist Schnee auf der Strecke? Welche Reifen schlagen Sie vor? Danke.
  5. Hello, Exuse me for writing in english. Although I understand deutsch well enough. Are there any fotos allready? I rode small 49/1900. I can only imagine, how fast and exciting those downhill singletracks are in dry conditions. Yesterday it was fun, but because of mud very hard, especially on downhills. Too bad that a lot of nice uphill tracks were too muddy and slippy to ride. For the next year I wish a little dryer track and maybie some more singletrack on final downhill. Question to A track: is addition to B filled mainly with macadam roads up an down, or are there nice singletracks?
  6. Hallo, It's time for update. It's been almost a month now, since the race took place. Bibichip or organisation team is still working hard on race times, I think. Mine was refreshed - this time it matches my bikecomputer up to second. I hope they manage to actualize times for all of us. The race itself was perfect, though. Wachau 2010, here we come.
  7. NOT TRUE. With my friend we both started on B track, 5 min later in second block. He drove through start cca 10 sec before me. On last uphill I overtake him and I finished cca 2min45s before him. On end results lsit, he finished before me for 1:33 sec?? No, on B track there is defenitely NOT netto time. And then I ask myself: was I ranked 33/95? Or should it be 52/95? Times are complitely messed. All I know is my actual time form my bikecomputer. When "Ergebnisse" was first published, we soon recognised, that we got +4:30 because of second start block. But at least difference between us was correct. Now here comes the surprise. Race results were changing for a couple of days and now at he end, ergebnissliste states, he was 1:33 sec before me!? Come on! I've been to number of marathons and never seen such poor time taking. Means, that 2Zeitnehmungfirma" has messed up times completely. The race itself and organisation was perfect. We come again in 2010. But the chip? I better pay no starting fee, race without number. Why? Because my ranking matters only to those couple friends I know, and I ride with them almost everyday.
Danke, David
