Kennt jemand eine Möglichkeit, eine BT-Verbindung mit jedem x-beliebigen BT-Stick anstelle des Daum-Adapter zu realisieren? Wäre auf alle Fälle interessant. AaIiGee Geschrieben 27. Dezember 2013 Teilen Geschrieben 27. Dezember 2013 Unfortunately I can´t write in German and I have to write in English which is very wrong language in this Daum world... Anyway, I just bought new laptop with Windows 8.1 and now I have no idea how to connect my Daum Premium 8i to my computer via old bluetooth adapter. I have original bluetooth adapter setup disk, but those drivers are for older Windows versions. I have done a lot of Google research but I can´t find any instructions in English. I would be very grateful if some of you could give some advices how to connect my Windows 8.1 laptop to Daum ergo via the bluetooth adapter. Thank you in advance! yo_ca Geschrieben 28. Dezember 2013 Teilen Geschrieben 28. Dezember 2013 Do not install the driver first. Try to plug in the BT dongle and to connect with it. You might then be prompted to install a driver for it. You should then try to install the driver from Daum's setup disk. Doing it this way may or may not work. It is not likely to do any harm. AaIiGee Geschrieben 28. Dezember 2013 Teilen Geschrieben 28. Dezember 2013 Unfortunately that didn´t work, but I found a page that shows how to connect bike directly to the computer, however, it didn´t work either. It looks that i´m totally lost, is there any English page with abc-instructions how to connect Daum and computer? I would like to use Ergoplanet software, unfortunately Ergoplanet pages are in German only. Zitieren Link zu diesem Kommentar Auf anderen Seiten teilen Mehr Optionen zum Teilen...
yo_ca Geschrieben 29. Dezember 2013 Teilen Geschrieben 29. Dezember 2013 The Ethernet connection is by far the easiest and most reliable way to connect the P8i to a computer. Run a standard Ethernet cable from your router/switch to the Daum. The dialog in the P8i cockpit is in English assuming that you set it up that way. The network connection of your P8i is independent of ErgoPlanet by the way. ErgoWin also uses the connection. I can try to help if you get stuck. Don't worry about having to communicate in English. Many people on this forum have excellent English skills. They just prefer to use their mother tongue for most of their messages. AaIiGee Geschrieben 30. Dezember 2013 Teilen Geschrieben 30. Dezember 2013 yo_ca, thank you for offering help! I got that answer from Daum: “Sorry , I have no instruction in english yet and I´m just updating a PC to have windows8 . So please wait further for informations. Maybe the attached info can help ( second page ).” It looks like they have no idea how to use BT adapter in Windows 8 and I have to find out another way to connect my bike. Direct Ethernet connection is not possible at the moment (after couple of weeks it will be possible…) and I would like to connect ergo and pc via Ethernet cable, but I have failed so far. The following is from the attachment sent by Daum: a ) LAN - ( Ethernet ) - Kabel direkt zum PC oder über Router bzw. Switch Verbindung : Ethernet - cross-over Kabel oder über Switch oder Hub mit Patch-Kabeln ; LEDs an der LAN- Buchse des Cockpits leuchten Netzwerk - Einstellungen am PC im System: feste IP-Adresse z. B . 192.168.25.100 , Subnetzmaske 255.255.255.0 im Programm ergo_win premium pro/ ergo_win race edition : feste Adresse aus der gleichen Gruppe wie PC , also z. B. 192.168.25.11 einstellen Einstellungen am bike : menu > 3. Einstellungen > 2. Gerätedaten > 4. Fernsteuerung Fernsteuerung : Ein Fernsteuerung durch : Netzwerk Bedienung sperren : Ein oder Aus Kommunikationsprotokoll : Standard Menu Netzwerk: DHCP aktiv : nein IP- Adresse gleich wie im PC-Programm , also z. B. 192.168.25.11 einstellen ; Subnetzmaske 255.255.255.0 ; Gateway und DNS 0.0.0.0 b As I have only some ideas about the text I have done the following (My computer ip-address is 192.168.000.190 and subnetmask 255.255.255.000): In Ergoplanet settings/training devices/connection=network and /address is 192.168.000.191 in 8i settings/device data/remote control the values are: - remote control on - remote control by network - lock system off . communication protocol standard In 8i settings/device data/network I have set the following values: - DHCP activate, DHCP no - IP address 192.168.000.191 - Gateway 000.000.000.000 - Subnetmask 255.255.255.000 - DNS server 000.000.000.000 But after all this all I get from Ergoplanet is this message: “Cockpit connection failed, unable to connect ergo_bike (connect failed)” It would be great help if you could check what is wrong in my settings, thank you once again! You need to set up your training device in ErgoPlanet as well. My version of EP uses English dialogs so I'll give you those. It's: Settings / Training Devices / New or Edit the Default / Name - your choice / Premium / Bike / Network / the fixed IP address that you assigned to your Daum device when you followed the instructions above. Then return and check with test function in the same dialog box. Connection Use ethernet - x-over cable [those are often orange] from PC or normal Ethernet patch cable from router/switch The LED's next to the LAN connector on the cockpit will light up when you have connected a cable that works. Your settngs on the Daum look correct to me. Check on your router which addresses it is using for your network devices. If you have a router [you probably do] and if your router is nearby and if your router still has a free ethernet connector, then you should probably avoid the x-over cable and run a cable from your router instead. It makes things much easier. Bearbeitet 30. Dezember 2013 von yo_ca added Zitieren Link zu diesem Kommentar Auf anderen Seiten teilen Mehr Optionen zum Teilen...

AaIiGee Geschrieben 9. Januar 2014 Teilen Geschrieben 9. Januar 2014 Thanks, I think that I went two steps forward but still something is wrong. I found out the following information from my router: http://img547.imageshack.us/img547/5261/f1xl.jpg Then I submitted the IP given for the ergo to EP: http://img594.imageshack.us/img594/5313/oh57.png I left ergo settings as they were, however, the result was the same old failure message from EP. Finally I did ping test and the result was following: http://img833.imageshack.us/img833/6494/5n5y.png No lost data, but destination host was unreachable. Is this an indication of some kind of problem? Zitieren Link zu diesem Kommentar Auf anderen Seiten teilen Mehr Optionen zum Teilen...
yo_ca Geschrieben 9. Januar 2014 Teilen Geschrieben 9. Januar 2014 You are much better off with a static IP address for your Daum device. You already have one device using a static IP address, so chances are good that you won't have much trouble doing it again fro the Daum. The Settings of your Daum will also display the MAC address of the Daum. Most routers need that when you assign a Static IP address. So just get the Daum MAC address and go through the dialog for a new Static Address on the router. Use something like 192.168.0.20. That should be outside your routers DHCP range and otherwise safe. Then enter that IP address in EP and test again. Zitieren Link zu diesem Kommentar Auf anderen Seiten teilen Mehr Optionen zum Teilen...

bergedorf6 Geschrieben 3. Februar 2014 Teilen Geschrieben 3.
