The Slovenian national mountain bike downhill cup will this year again take place in Soriška mountain ski resort on the last weekend in August. At the same time, the race will once more also be considered for the Croatian Cup.
The race will be held in the beautiful surroundings; 1500m (start) above sea level, overlooking some of the highest peaks of the Julian Alps, Karavanke Mountains and closer hills of the Škofjeloškas mountain chain (Škofjeloško pogorje).
In addition to the race, in the afternoon and the evening there will be a rich program with concerts in a tent on the parking lot (Friday and Saturday). Food and drinks will be taken care of.
This year’s awesome attraction will be the presence of a helicopter near the venue, with which you will be able to ride over the highest peaks of the Julian Alps. This attraction will be organized in cooperation with a mountain cabin (Litostrojska koča) located on the mountain “Sorška planina”.
