Daum Premium 8i dont work

Hi,

 

I just purchased a Daum Premium 8i but its doesnt seems to work. When I turn it on, there is only the backlight in the display no graphics.

 

Any idea what to do ???

 

Can I use the bike unplugged ?

hi lars,

my 8008 trs sometimes has the same problem. i push the reset-button and then it works. check your manual if, and where there is a resetbutton. on my cockpit it is on the back and has to be pressed with someting long and thin (paperclip).

if that doesnt work check the cables.

It is inside the cockpit, must run without SD card as well.

the new cockpit should work. are all the plugs to the cockpit plugged in the right place? mine has 2. one for pulssensor, one for conection to main unit. is the led on mainunit on? (just in case, main switch on, power cord plugged, fuse in place electric bill paid for for?)

if that is all ok. call daum.

I have conneced 3 wire on the back of the cockpit. Wire 2 and 3, look's the same (1 Black and 1 grey) and Wire 4 look like a internet cabel. I also tried the reset buttom without any luck.

 

There are allways only 1 LED light on the mainboard inside the bike and that is the Yellow. I have never seen light in the Red.

 

It's also funny that the 2 cockpit I have at the moment doesn't work in the same way.
