Can someone explain to me in English how to convert a ride profile from my Garmin Edge 305 into a .epp file for my Daum Ergo bike? I tried ErgoGraph and it opens the .tcx file no problem but does not offer .epp as an export option.

 

Here are 2 ride profiles I would like to convert:

Hi Pierre,

 

I will show you how I would do it.

First of all you have to convert your tcx file into a gpx file via TCX converter (http://www.teambikeolympo.it/TCXConverter/TeamBikeOlympo_-_TCX_Converter/TCX_Converter_ENG.html).

Then open Ergograph and choose from the horizontal menu bar "Tools". In the drop down menu select "Programmdatei erstellen ..." Open your gpx file and save it as epp file. That's it, but possibly there are simpler ways to reach the same result.

 

Theoretically it should also work when you open in "Ergograph" the tcx file and save it as an *.ege file. Then open the menu "Tools" and select "Programmdatei erstellen..." and save the *.ege file as *.epp file. But this doesn't work on my computer.

Hi Headway,

 

Tis is great! Thank you so much for your help! I had not subscribed to the thread and only noticed your answer today! I successfully converted my .tcx files into .epp files. I will now copy them to the ergo sd card and see what happens.

 

It will be great to train on my favorite trails even when the weather is bad!!!
