Sommer in Osterrecih: Hilf bitte!

Hallo,

Erstmal entschuldigen... mein Deutsch ist schlecht, sehr schlecht...

Ich mochte diesse Sommer eine Monate oder zwei oder drei in Osterreich bleiben. Ich mochte mountainbiken (XC)

fur diesse zeit machen.

Ich muss ein Ort finden. Ich lesse uber Seefeld in Tirol und Solden/Oetz aber ich weiss es nicht Wo soll ich gehen.

Ich brauche ein Ort mitt viele Mountainbiken und viellecht irgendwo mitt Aktivitat und ein Paar Tourists.

Der Traum ist ein Sommer in der Alpen.

Kann Mann beraten? Wo ist ein gut Ort fur mich?

Der Klassiker: Saalbach-Hinterglemm (Bikepark, Gondelbetrieb, viele Strecken)

Ich fand es in Saalbach-Hinterglemm sehr schön, vor allem wirklich gut auf Bike-Tourismus vorbereitet.

Gibt aber bestimmt auch viele andere hübsche(ere) Gegenden in .AT.

wenn ich einen sommer in den alpen zum biken verbringen will, ist österreich das letzte land, auf das ich käme. österreich ist super zum fressen und saufen, aber scheisse zum mountainbiken.

Gut, dass du das so siehst, dann hab ich, der sich nur Österreich leisten kann, einen Nörgler weniger, der mir auf den Trails unterkommen kann.

Sicher gibt es sehr gute Spots in den Alpen etc., die nicht in Österreich sind, aber das ist eine blöde Aussage! (@Siegfried: Danke, du sprichst mir aus der Seele!)

Der Tourismusverband hat sicher Information für dich! Ich kenne die Dachsteinrunde (rot), nicht schwierig zu fahren, schöne Strecke 192km/4900HM. Ist so etwas für dich interessant? Da gibt es sicher noch anspruchsvollere, vielleicht ein Alpencross im Westen (Tirol)...

Sölden und Ötztal sind gut, Ich denke. Der Plan ist ein Ort mitt andere Bike Route so dass ich andere dinge machen kann. Ich brauche Wahl(?)

in westösterreich schauts ja eh a bisserl besser aus. aber was im rest als bikerparadies angepriesen wird, ist eine beleidigung für jedes bike ohne starrgabel.

Das Biken in den Alpen ist super. Vor allem kenne ich die Gebiete Salzkammergut, Saalbach-Hinterglemm und Kitzbühler Alpen (meine Heimat) recht gut. Ich finde das sind recht gute Bikegebiete. Auch Veranstaltungen sind im Sommer viele vorhanden.

Gardasee ist auch ok.

Bei weiterm Interesse kann ich dir weitere Infos zukommen lassen.

Ich kann mich nicht entscheiden. Ich muss jetzt uber Saalbach/Litzbuhl lessen. Ich war letzte Sommer in Gardasee, ich habe da ein bisschen ruhige gefunden oder nicht richtig fur ein paar Monate allein.

Riva/Torbole? Cant be quiet there (its more "quiet" in Arco).

the north of lake garda is the only region where it makes sense, when biking/climbing/surfing is planned

(even when that regions attractiveness decreased HEAVILY during the few years I know it).

Next time I do plan something like Saalbach-Hinterglemm, Region Bozen, some spots in Slovenia, all instead of Garda.

(At Garda one somehow now gets the feeling bikers are no longer customers that are wanted there. Also, at my 1st holidays there - around 2000 - there were countless other bikers off the street to be seen everywhere, anywhere. Brutal race machines, extreme downhill bikes, ...

while with my last visits there - 2007, 2008, 2009 - we somehow felt like being the only ones leaving the streets, ...

My buddies finally refused to got there, thats why we did not make a bike holiday last year)

I was in the general Riva area, did some spins out of both sides, up to Lago di Ledro and descended on that side, descended into Arco from the other side. Mostly did trails around the Santa Barbara side. I did not find most of the trails and descents very interesting. A lot of it was very hidden, walkers trails really and you would not meet any other mountain bikers. Riva is very bike friendly and lots of cyclists but go a little off into the mountains and you meet nobody. That was my experience.

If you felt alone in the surroundings of Lake Garda you will not find a place in the Alps where you can find more people cycling with mountain bikes. Lake Garda is one of the hottest spots and I don't know a place in europe where you can find more people riding on the mountains.

3 months ist a very long time. If you want to stay here such a long time you should travel to more locations. The mentioned places like Sölden or Seefeld are good for biking for 1 or 2 weeks. The region of Kitzbühel is also good for 2 weeks.

I think when you come to Austria you will take a flight to Innsbruck and you don't have a car to transport your equipment. So you will rely on trains or buses. If you do that you shoult stay in touristic towns and villages with trainstations like St.Anton, Landeck, Seefeld, Innsbruck, Jennbach, Kufstein, Kitzbühel, Zell am See. If you decide to change your location you will have more fun.

Thanks a lot, Michael. I am thinking of bringing my car. So, maybe 2 weeks here and 2 weeks there would be the best idea.
