Hello from SF, Anybody want to do a ride using good-old stable EWPP? 10:00Hrs(PDT) or 11:00Hrs(PDT) start time. Tues, Wed, Thurs, or Fri. Course: Anything but Donnersberg 46km (ouch!) Kip

She even leads and participates in grouptraining using ewpp. (we have a total of 3 bikes here in SF) and she follows, with interest, the chat on this Bikeboard. Her interest in cycling and training with an indoor powermeter is good. However, now she is complaining because I haven't given HER flowers for a long time. ...nur Witz.... Kip

I also have been using 2 laptops for just this purpose. I hope they fix the EWRE before my wife reclaims her PC. One more question please. Last night, I checked-in for Donnersberg and it AUTOMATICALLY launched my EWPP_1.0.3.1, and clearly this arranement did not work. Bernd quickly sent an email to use EWRE (I have EWRE_1.1.0.0.) and this arrangement worked. (although, did not work to the full potential-as I read also happened to other riders). WHAT IS THE PREFERRED SEQUENCE FOR CHECK-IN? 1.) Open downloaded race file first? (that then automatically>EWPP) vs. 2. Launch the (EW)Program first, then open the downloaded race file? (as I did last night) Thank you, again, for your help. I really enjoy this training concept. Kip

Hi guys, Last night 3 of us tried to ride Donnersberg (23:00Hrs in SF) but only 1 could successfully login. We believed the problems to be with us and so we tried and tried again and ran out of check-in time. Questions: 1. Which is the better program to use. EWPP or EWRE? I have:EWPP_1.0.3.1 and EWRE_1.1.0.0. 1. There is a problem with the EWRE 1.1.0.0 SW. Right? (after I check-in with EWRE, very little data is seen on my display. Only my Nr's. and my position on the race profile graph). 2. What sequence of check-in? a.) First open the downloaded race and let it launch the program? EWPP vs. EWRE or/ b.) First launch the program (EWPP vs. EWRE) and next open the downloaded race? Thanks, Kip

Hallo Bernd, The ride is Sunday October 8, 2006 at 08:00Uhr Germany = Saturday October 7, 2006 at 23:00Hrs California. For me? YES! (but no wine for me with dinner before) I also will look for another rider here in S.F. so that I will have real and virtual biking buddies. I hope, in S.F., we can race two bikes over the same router with the new EWRE Software. This was done before using EWPP1.0.3.0 with no problem. Bernd; What server to logon?? What SW?? EWRE or EWPP1.0.3.0 (we want multimedia, right?) Kip

Today I: 1. Loaded new Premium Pro Race 2. 19:30 Check in for Kranzberg - OK 3. 20:00 Start Kranzberg: Cockpit and PC came to life. Cockpit looks OK but much data not available on PC. (Other riders telemetry data and all rider´s positions on the elevation profile graph were missing) Webcams seem OK (Why so few riders have webcams?) Voice/audio OK (why so few riders with audio?) This all appeared so poor compared with yesterday´s successful ride, so I quit the ride. 4. 21:00 check in for Kranzberg (again) 5. 21:30 Three of us started. Same deficiencies. Two others went to bed and so I rode alone. Are today´s problems with my settings, or EWPP-Race software or daumServer? Hope for better luck next time. Kip
